Members of the Catholic Men Association (CMA) have been urged to actively participate in Church activities and strengthen their spiritual lives, especially during this year, which has been dedicated to honoring and praying for men in the Diocese of Embu.
Speaking during the Silver Jubilee and Family Day celebrations at St. John the Baptist Kirie Parish, Diocese of Embu Bishop, Rt. Rev. Peter Kimani Ndung’u expressed concern over the declining number of men participating in Church activities.
The Bishop also challenged members of the Catholic Women Association, CWA, to continue supporting and encouraging men to return to the Church, especially through participation in the sacraments, including Holy Matrimony.
In his homily, Bishop Kimani congratulated the faithful of Kirie Parish for their generosity and commitment in supporting the Church.
He reminded Christians that they are called to witness Christ through their actions and by living lives that are pleasing before God.
The Bishop further emphasized the importance of giving, saying that supporting the Church and serving priests is ultimately an act of serving God.
