Runyenjes Member of Parliament Eric Muchangi, popularly known as Karemba, has strongly condemned the vandalism of a power transformer at Kiviuvi Coffee Factory in Gitare Sublocation, Embu County.
The legislator said the transformer was vandalized last night and described the incident as unfortunate and unacceptable, especially amid rising cases of vandalism targeting transformers and other electricity supply equipment in the constituency.
Muchangi said the destruction of public infrastructure not only disrupts essential services but also undermines development efforts and negatively affects residents and businesses that depend on reliable electricity
